Nayara Tented Camp

This exciting project is Luxury Frontiers’ entry into the Americas and was commissioned by the owners, who were inspired by the quintessential tented camps of Africa and Asia. The year-round Nayara Tented Camp is designed to fully immerse guests in the Costa Rican rainforest experience, showcasing the 400 species of birds, a sloth sanctuary, and other wonders of the Arenal Rainforest.
The camp is an add-on project adjacent to the 2 award-winning Nayara Resorts: Nayara Springs and Nayara Resort, Spa & Gardens. Guests can enjoy the amenities and facilities of both resorts as well as the camp’s own restaurant, lounge, and pool, making this project a perfect testament of how experiential programming and light-on-earth accommodations on existing land can provide owners’ guests with unique experiences.

Luxurious Versatility
Each of the initial 29 tented villas (out of the 36 planned) is 750 sq ft with an en-suite bathroom, bathtub, and outdoor shower. The villas have generous outdoor living decks with private plunge pools filled by the nearby hot springs.
Eco-friendly Design
With its light footprint approach, the project’s responsible design features range from the fabric roofs and canvas paneled walls to suspended floors and the use of locally and sustainably sourced building materials.
